Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Welcome to the Platipus website at www.platipusgaming.com (the “Website”).

In these Terms, “Platipus” means the Platipus brand and each company that the owner of the Platipus brand authorises, from time to time, to develop, supply, license, or otherwise provide games, technology, or services under that brand, whether that company is connected to the group by shareholding, affiliation, or a licence agreement. This definition covers every such company as the group stands today, whatever its name, and any company that joins or replaces them in future. A company whose authorisation has ended, or which uses the Platipus brand without authorisation, is not part of Platipus. “We”, “us”, and “our” mean the Platipus company concerned.

These Terms apply to each Platipus company, and each Platipus company may rely on and enforce them. Where a regulator or any other person needs to identify the Platipus company concerned, it is the company that holds the relevant licence, registration, or approval listed in section 8, or that supplies the relevant game or service. A list of the companies currently authorised is available on request from legal@platipusgaming.com.

The Website is operated by the Platipus company identified at the foot of each page of the Website.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website, including its information, materials, demo games, client areas, and forms. By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Platipus operates on a business-to-business (B2B) basis and provides gaming-related products, technology, and services only to business partners, including operators licensed in the jurisdictions where they operate. The Website and its content are directed at business partners and industry professionals, not consumers. The Website does not provide or facilitate real-money gambling, and nothing on it is an offer, invitation, or advertisement to consumers to gamble.

1. About the Website

1.1. The Website provides information about Platipus, its games, technology, and services, and may include:

  • (a) product and technology information;

  • (b) demo versions of games;

  • (c) a client or partner area for authorised users;

  • (d) contact, partnership, and career forms; and

  • (e) news, marketing, and corporate materials.

1.2. The Website does not offer, accept, or process real-money bets, wagers, deposits, or withdrawals.

1.3. Any commercial relationship with Platipus is governed by a separate written agreement between the relevant Platipus company and the business partner.

2. Demo Games

2.1. Demo games are provided exclusively to business partners and industry professionals for demonstration, testing, and evaluation. Platipus may require age confirmation, registration, or a business login before granting access, and may restrict demo access in certain jurisdictions.

2.2. Demo games involve no real-money wagering, deposits, withdrawals, or cash prizes, and are not an invitation or offer to gamble.

2.3. Demo games and product pages do not link to real-money gambling websites and must not be used to direct users to them.

2.4. Demo versions may differ from the versions supplied to licensed operators, including in configuration, functionality, and mathematical settings.

2.5. Access to demo games does not create a gambling, player, or commercial relationship with Platipus.

3. Age and Responsible Gaming

3.1. The Website and its gaming-related content are intended only for adults of the minimum legal gambling age. That age is 18 in the United Kingdom, Malta, Romania, Sweden, Peru, and Italy, and 19 in Ontario. In any other jurisdiction, the local minimum legal age for gambling applies where it is higher than 18.

3.2. Anyone below the applicable age must not access or use the gaming-related sections of the Website.

3.3. Information about our approach to responsible gaming is available on our Responsible Gaming page.

4. Client and Partner Areas

4.1. Certain areas of the Website are available only to authorised business partners and may require registration or login.

4.2. You must keep your login credentials secure and must not share them with anyone who is not authorised.

4.3. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, unless it results from circumstances beyond your reasonable control.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1. You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not:

  • (a) use the Website for fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorised purposes;

  • (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its systems, or restricted areas, or to bypass its security measures;

  • (c) introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;

  • (d) use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or similar tools to extract data from the Website without our prior written consent;

  • (e) impersonate any person or misrepresent your relationship with Platipus; or

  • (f) infringe the intellectual property or other rights of Platipus or anyone else.

5.2. Platipus may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or part of the Website if it reasonably suspects a breach of these Terms, unauthorised or fraudulent activity, or a security risk, or where the law or a regulator requires it.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. The Website and its content, including the Platipus name, logos, mascot, game titles, game mechanics, software, graphics, animations, audiovisual materials, designs, text, and interfaces, are owned by or licensed to Platipus and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2. The Platipus name, logos, mascot, and game titles are trade marks of Platipus, whether registered or unregistered. No one may use them without the written authorisation of Platipus.

6.3. You may view the Website, and download or print its content, for your own information or for your internal business evaluation of Platipus products. You may use marketing materials that Platipus provides for that purpose only as Platipus permits.

6.4. Except as permitted above or by law, you must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from the Website or its content, or reverse-engineer or decompile any software or game, without the prior written consent of Platipus.

6.5. Please report any suspected infringement, or any unauthorised use of the Platipus brand or games, to legal@platipusgaming.com.

7. Content, Liability, and Third-Party Websites

7.1. The Website is provided “as is” and “as available”. Platipus aims to keep its content accurate and up to date but does not guarantee that it is complete, error-free, or current, or that the Website will be available without interruption.

7.2. To the extent permitted by law, Platipus is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on Website content, temporary unavailability of the Website, or misuse of the Website by users.

7.3. The Website may link to third-party websites. Platipus does not control them and is not responsible for their content, security, or terms.

7.4. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

8. Regulatory Compliance

8.1. Platipus companies hold the following licences, registrations, and approvals. Each is held by the Platipus company named on the relevant regulator’s public register, where current details are available:

  • (a) United Kingdom: licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission under account number 67428 (gamblingcommission.gov.uk);

  • (b) Malta: licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (www.mga.org.mt);

  • (c) Romania: licensed by the National Gambling Office, ONJN (www.onjn.gov.ro);

  • (d) Ontario: registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario as a gaming-related supplier (www.agco.ca);

  • (e) Sweden: licensed by Spelinspektionen (www.spelinspektionen.se);

  • (f) Peru: registered with MINCETUR as a linked service provider (www.mincetur.gob.pe); and

  • (g) Italy: games certified for the Italian market in line with the requirements of the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (www.adm.gov.it).

8.2. Where a jurisdiction requires it, Platipus games are tested and certified by accredited testing laboratories before they are supplied in that jurisdiction.

8.3. The appearance of a product on the Website does not mean that it is available, or may lawfully be supplied or operated, in every jurisdiction. Platipus supplies its products only to operators that hold the licences required in the jurisdictions where they offer them, and does not knowingly supply its products in breach of applicable sanctions.

8.4. Platipus supplies its games only under written agreements. To the extent provided in, and subject to, those agreements, each business partner is responsible for:

  • (a) holding and maintaining the licences and approvals required in each jurisdiction where it offers our games;

  • (b) offering our games only in the jurisdictions and regions where it is permitted to do so, and within the conditions and restrictions of its licences;

  • (c) geo-blocking and other technical measures that prevent access from jurisdictions where it is not licensed; and

  • (d) player-facing obligations, including age verification, responsible gambling measures, and compliance with local advertising rules.

8.5. Platipus does not authorise anyone to offer its games in a jurisdiction where they are not licensed. If Platipus becomes aware, including through a regulator, that its games are available through an unlicensed operator or in a jurisdiction where they are not permitted, it will take the steps available to it under its agreements, which may include requiring the games to be removed or suspending supply.

8.6. Platipus cooperates with the regulators that license or register it. Regulators and other interested parties may report unauthorised availability of our games to legal@platipusgaming.com.

9. Privacy and Cookies

9.1. The Platipus company that operates the Website is the controller of personal data collected through it. Other Platipus companies may act as controllers where they process personal data for their own purposes, for example when entering into an agreement with a business partner.

9.2. Personal data is processed in line with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR and UK GDPR where they apply, and as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent where the law requires it.

9.3. Please do not submit sensitive personal data or any payment information through the Website. We never ask for them here.

10. Changes to These Terms

10.1. Platipus may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Website, the law, or regulatory requirements. Updated Terms take effect when published on the Website, and the date at the top shows when they were last updated. Your continued use of the Website after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Language

11.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the country in which the Platipus company concerned is incorporated, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. This does not apply where a separate agreement between you and a Platipus company provides otherwise, or where mandatory law gives you other rights.

11.2. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails, unless the law requires otherwise.

12. Contact

12.1. All communications about these Terms, including formal notices, must be sent to legal@platipusgaming.com.
